5 steps. YAKI UDON -umami fried udon-
Ingredients
1 Frozen udon noodle
1/4 Onion (sliced)
1 cup Your choice of sliced vegetable (such as carrot, celery, mushroom, zucchini, kale, chard…)
1 TBSP Soy sauce
1 TBSP Butter
1 TBSP Nutritional yeast or Bonito flake (if you are not vegan/vegetarian)
Instructions
Put frozen udon noodle in boiling water until noodles are loosened. Drain and set aside.
Heat pan and 1 TBSP vegetable oil with over medium heat, cook onion with pinch of salt until it gets translucent.
Add other vegetable, sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
Add noodle, soy sauce and butter, mix well until butter completely dissolved.
Sprinkle nutritional yeast or bonito flakes.
