5 steps. YAKI UDON -umami fried udon-

Ingredients

  • 1 Frozen udon noodle

  • 1/4 Onion (sliced)

  • 1 cup Your choice of sliced vegetable (such as carrot, celery, mushroom, zucchini, kale, chard…)

  • 1 TBSP Soy sauce

  • 1 TBSP Butter

  • 1 TBSP Nutritional yeast or Bonito flake (if you are not vegan/vegetarian)

Instructions

  1. Put frozen udon noodle in boiling water until noodles are loosened. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat pan and 1 TBSP vegetable oil with over medium heat, cook onion with pinch of salt until it gets translucent.

  3. Add other vegetable, sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.

  4. Add noodle, soy sauce and butter, mix well until butter completely dissolved.

  5. Sprinkle nutritional yeast or bonito flakes.
