A. That texture is from Kombu, one of the key ingredients in "chili miso dip.” Kombu is a type of seaweed rich in the dietary fibres algin and fucoidan. Kombu gives our "chili miso dip" its umami, texture and consistency.

Q. There is a white sediment which didn’t completely dissolve into the miso soup…
A. The white sediment you see collecting on the bottom of your dish is KOJI, which is very nutritionus and good for your gut.
