STIR FRIED VEGGIES

(Shio Koji / Chive Salt Koji )

Easiest flavourful stir fry. Must have item in a fridge!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Onion (sliced)

  • 2~3 Garlic cloves (minced)

  • 4 cups Vegetables chopped (whatever you want to add such as carrot, celery, bell pepper, mushroom, kale, chard, broccoli, zucchini etc…)

  • 2 TBSP Shio-Koji or Chive Salt Koji

  • 1 TBSP Vegetable oil

IInstructions

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet with over medium heat.

  2. Sauté onion and pinch of salt for 1 min, add garlic and other veggies, mix together.

  3. Splash a tiny bit of water(about 1 TBSP) and cover the lid for 1 min. ( or continue stir frying until vegetables are crisp-tender without water and covering the lid)

  4. Add shio-koji, black pepper and mix.

NOTE
・It is already tasty to eat right away (cook little bit longer if you like softer veggies), but highly recommended to leave some of it in a fridge is useful for adding to any dishes such as fried noodle and rice, topping for noodle in soup. Also Shio-Koji integrates and enhances all the flavours if it’s rest in a fridge for overnight.
・It will be good for about 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
