SHIO-KOJI RICE
Ingredients
1 cup Short grain sushi rice
1 cup Water
1 tsp Shio-Koji
1/4 cup Frozen edamame beans (optional)
Instructions
Rice cooker
Rinse the rice
Put everything in a rice cooker
Cook
Open the lid and fluff the rice
Pot
Rinse the rice
Put everything in a pot with a lid on, leave it for 30 minutes
Bring it to a rapid boil
Turn the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes
Turn off heat and leave it on the element for 5 minutes
Open the lid and fluff the rice
***Do not open the lid while it’s cooking
