SHIO-KOJI RICE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Short grain sushi rice

  • 1 cup Water

  • 1 tsp Shio-Koji

  • 1/4 cup Frozen edamame beans (optional)

Instructions

Rice cooker

  1. Rinse the rice

  2. Put everything in a rice cooker

  3. Cook

  4. Open the lid and fluff the rice

Pot

  1. Rinse the rice

  2. Put everything in a pot with a lid on, leave it for 30 minutes

  3. Bring it to a rapid boil

  4. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes

  5. Turn off heat and leave it on the element for 5 minutes

  6. Open the lid and fluff the rice

    ***Do not open the lid while it’s cooking
